Photographs are my number one source of inspiration for pencil portrait drawings. Whether it’s pet pencil drawings from photos or a nature snapshot that someone’s grabbed in the wild, you’ll never be short of inspiration for your drawings. There’s something special about transforming a photograph into a pencil portrait. It captures a moment in time in a unique way while adding a touch of personality.
Pencil drawings are a personal gift that you can give to someone special for their birthday, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, anniversaries, or any life milestone. I create my pencil drawings in A6, A5, A4, A3, and A2 size – making them ideal for framing in your home and displaying for everyone to see.
These Pencil drawings started as a hobby and passion of mine that turned into a full-time career. After sharpening my creative skills, I started to specialise in pencil portrait drawings of people and pets. I work closely with my clients to help them bring their photographs to life in a way that allows them to cherish them forever.
As a self-taught artist, I take pride in creating unique pencil drawings that bring a smile to every client’s face. All I need to get started is a high-resolution image of your chosen subject. The higher the quality of your photo, the more details I can capture from the subject. Pet pencil drawings from photos are amongst my most popular commissions – but no subject is off-limit.
My work focuses on monochromatic and realistic pencil drawings of animals, people, and structures. Your drawing’s subjects do not need to be in one photograph. I can work off separate photos to create a unique family or group portrait that brings together everyone in your life. These styles of pencil drawings are popular for wedding and birthday gifts.
Each drawing is a photorealistic capturing of the subject, typically without a background. My goal is to capture the essence of every subject, bringing their personality and likeness to life with every pencil stroke.
If you’re purchasing your pencil drawings as gifts, I can help you find the perfect frame to finish off your pencil portrait. Every drawing is sprayed with a gloss varnish to create a clear protective coating that allows the pencil drawing to last a lifetime. It’s a family heirloom that you’ll want to pass down through the generations.
Ordering your pencil portrait drawings couldn’t be easier – it’s a simple three-step process. I take a 20%% deposit, which is when you’ll submit your photographs. I’ll check the quality of the photo(s) submitted with the order form to make sure I can see enough detail to create a decent pencil drawing before I get started on your artwork. I will email you and request a clearer image if the photo is not suitable. You’ll receive an image of the pencil sketch to approve once it’s done and dusted. After your remaining balance is paid, your pencil drawing will be safely on its way to you.
Turnaround times vary depending on the size and detail of your pencil drawings, as well as your delivery location and date pencil portrait is required. It can take 1 to 8 weeks to create your pencil drawings to arrive after your deposit is paid. I strongly advise ordering early during busy periods like Valentine’s Day and Christmas as there’s a limited number of slots available.
